♥ Dear two-oh-three-eleven
Quote from Dr Martin Luther King Jr
“Ultimately a genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus, but a molder of consensus.”I agree completely. I think I may have told some of the class I'd like to be the class chair this year. And I know some - many - doubt my responsibility and my capability to hand in forms ect. You see me as confused, as blur as messy and disorientated. While that's partially true... I believe that to be class chair really doesn't mean handing in forms, meeting teachers [partly this one, but not so much], or anything, but I believe that to be the class chair means to be able to hold a class together and make sure we're bonded in this strive for excellence...which I hope we can achieve, both the bonds between us, and the spirit of excellence in whatever we do, starting with the class decoration competition as usual.
And I was just thinking about the whole class chair thing when I found that quote and I thought it was quite relevant. Our class has never been extremely bonded, enthusiastic or whatnot; there's always been someone who didn't care. And as the cell likes to say "the cell is only as strong as its' weakest member", I'd like to think of this as similar. Our class can only be as enthusiastic as its' least enthusiastic person; our Chinese standard as a class can only be as good as me... [Okay I'm kidding Celine's worse.]
To me this post sounds awkwardly formal and nice, but it's the only way I know how to write this out. I can't exactly just blabber that out because I've been thinking about it. But I hope you see my point.
Less than three,
Josephine
