♥ Happy Children's Day
I enjoyed being a child.
And I miss it - very, very much.
I was reading Louise's blog, and I do agree with her.
We're all still children at heart.
It's only one day, the 31st of December, 2009 and the 1st of January, 2010.
Yet why does that one day make such a difference?
It's only one day - the 2nd of September and the 3rd of September.
That one day makes a year's difference.
I enjoy being a teen, yes I do.
At the same time, I miss being a child.
There's that sense of joy,
That sense of love,
I'd like to feel.
Happy youth day.
It sounds different, somehow.
Just so different.
Happy youth day.
Why is it that youthfulness to me, comes with a heavy sense of responsibility?
Of duty?
I enjoyed being a child.
The carefreeness of it all.
When I didn't need to care about my responsibilities.
When all that mattered was having fun.
When I was loved for having fun,
And not for doing my duty.
I miss being a child.
Happy, happy children's day.
And I miss it - very, very much.
